GT America Type Specimen
For my Advanced Digital Typography class, I designed an 8-page booklet showcasing the GT America typeface by Grilli Type.
SLO Transit Redesign - UX/UI
My team at Cal Poly Iter8 took on a redesign case study for our local transit system called SLO Transit. Check out this Medium article we wrote about our design process!
Asian Art Museum - Ephemera Wall
During my second year at Cal Poly, I worked with the Cal Poly Center for Expressive Technologies to design a digital experience for the Ephemera Wall Exhibit at the Asian Art Museum (SF). This project was implemented by Logan Dickey, a friend of mine and a brilliant Computer Science student at UC Berkeley.
BioLog - 2nd place at UX Fest SLO
In April, a lovely team of Cal Poly students and I collaborated on a healthcare-based app prototype for UX Fest SLO - a UX-focused design challenge held fully virtually. We envisioned a platform that provides users a comprehensive look at their important health information such as prescriptions, healthcare contacts, and medical conditions. Our project is called BioLog, and our team took 2nd place! Designing with senior citizen users in mind was our main concern. We read up on accessibility-focused design principles, ran multiple sessions of user testing, and sought critique from the amazing mentors at the event to improve on our information architecture and refine our design choices. By no means is it a fully polished prototype, but I am super proud of the work we've done! View our prototype below! (Best viewed on a computer)
Kart to Kitchen
Designed the user interface for a storefront app aiming to bridge access to food banks to those in need. This project was featured in an article by KRON4 News.
The Painless Project
THE PAINLESS PROJECT is a fictional advertising brand identity. It targets the new generation of tech industry graduates to spread awareness of the unethical overworking of employees.
"Print Pays" Infographic
In my Digital Publishing Systems class (GRC 203), we were prompted to create a poster to submit for a contest held by the Printing Industries Association, Inc. of Southern California (PIASC) every year. I designed this dynamic infographic promoting jobs in the printing industry and outlining why print is still a relevant and important global industry.
Digital Publishing Systems Portfolio Booklet
A compilation of all the work created in my Digital Publishing Systems class during the fall quarter of my freshman year. This booklet includes projects involving Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator; printed using our Graphic Communication department's printing press.
iOS 13 Lock Screen Concept (Featured on BGR)
During my senior year of high school, I created a prototype video of what the iOS 13 lock screen could look like before it was released. It focused mainly on the music functionality of the lock screen. A journalist on BGR wrote an article based on my Reddit post about the project.
